The social media launch of the Yoodee app marked a major milestone for the brand, centred around showcasing real user experiences through our network of Yoodee Creators. The strategy focused on humanising the discovery of the app by producing a series of short, authentic videos where these creators shared how they use Yoodee to recommend their favourite places — from cafés and restaurants to essential services like barbers and plumbers.
Each video was designed to be dynamic and relatable, aiming to build a connection with our target audience: young adults aged 18 to 40 who value recommendations from people they trust. The campaign was rolled out on TikTok and Instagram, generating high levels of engagement thanks to the vertical format, natural tone, and clear calls to action such as “Download Yoodee and start sharing the best.”
We reinforced the campaign with strategic messaging that highlighted the app’s benefits — from discovering hidden gems recommended by friends to providing private feedback to businesses to help them improve. This approach positioned Yoodee not only as a useful tool but as a platform that brings people and local businesses closer together.
Thanks to this content-driven, creator-led strategy, we built an active and engaged community that began downloading and exploring the app. In just three months, we reached 1,000 downloads — a strong start that proves the power of authentic storytelling and the importance of creators who truly embody Yoodee’s mission and values.
